Data centre services company, Whipcord, sees success in 2016, looks to increased growth in 2017
Lethbridge, AB – January 18, 2017 – A Lethbridge-based company has established itself as a leader in IT Services while they continue to receive high praise from their customers. Whipcord, a high-performance IT infrastructure company has expanded their operations nationally to include the Vancouver and Toronto markets to meet its customer requirements of geo-diverse locations.
Their 2016 Customer Satisfaction Survey results were recently released and 100 per cent of respondents gave Whipcord an Excellent, Very Good or Good rating. Their top three differentiators from other service providers were established as Customer Support, Flexibility, and Response Time.
“Whipcord is passionate about customer service and it’s rewarding to hear how satisfied our clients are about our services,” says Mike Stechyshyn, Senior Director, Business Development. “These results exceed industry standard for a technology company and we’re proud that our customer service is what sets us apart from our competitors.”
This is the third year that Whipcord has collected responses from customers and the third year receiving a 100 per cent approval rating. Of note, 96 per cent of respondents rated Whipcord as Excellent or Very Good and all respondents said they would recommend Whipcord to their peers.
Whipcord began as a geospatial company 16 years ago, and has since become successful in the data services industry. They now offer a range of business solutions, focused on colocation, data backup and replication for disaster recovery solutions, and private/multi-tenant cloud services.
Lethbridge is in an extremely low risk area for natural and manmade disasters, making it an ideal location for a data centre. Within the last year, Whipcord has expanded to data centres in Vancouver and Toronto, allowing the company to offer service to more Canadian businesses and the ability to failover to Whipcord’s other locations.
“Growth into new geographies is always a challenge, but we have been building from our solid base of clients who willingly act as references,” says Stechyshyn. “Our effort to provide a great customer experience ensures we have a solid foundation in these new markets.”
Whipcord hosted a launch event in Vancouver in July 2016 and will be hosting a similar event in February to announce their presence in the Toronto marketplace.
